Welcome to my second Sunday Secret – a bi-monthly-ish series where I share behind the scenes realities of my sexy life.
My debut as a striptease artist was not my first attempt at a career in erotica; my initial tentative steps came a couple of years before that. In the late 1990s, I was in my first journalism job, writing about IT in financial services. I wanted to move into something I found more interesting, and spotted a copy-writing job advertised at Men Only, a leading top-shelf adult mag.
I got an interview, and was desperately excited to head into Soho to the Paul Raymond Publishing offices. Soho in the late 90s was a gritty, neon-lit sleaze-fest which should have terrified me as a 23 year old woman.
